4 treated from fumes near chemical mixing plant in Cleveland

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WJW) – Cleveland Fire and HAZMAT personnel responded to a report of a chemical exposure Thursday morning.

It happened around 10 a.m. at Rockefeller Ave. and Independence Rd.

According to the fire department, utility workers outside the Zaclon chemical mixing plant in Cleveland’s Industrial Valley got sick from fumes.

Four people were taken to the hospital.

There is no word on their conditions.
