BRECKSVILLE, Ohio– Three teenagers are safe tonight after being swept away in a water current in the Chippewa Creek Gorge at Brecksville Reservation.
The Metroparks said they, along with fire and EMS, were called out to the area around 8:30 tonight. They said one teen was able to get out of the water on their own; the other two also got out of the water, but needed the fire department’s help crossing the water to safety.
The Metroparks said the area is a no-swimming zone. No one was seriously injured; however, one teen was taken to Sagamore Hills Medical Center to be checked out.
