CLEVELAND (WJW) — The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner has identified the 14-year-old girl who was killed early Tuesday morning.
Davionna Wright died after being shot in the head, authorities say.
The incident happened just after midnight at an apartment in the 2900 block of Archwood Avenue, according to Cleveland police. That’s where police found the girl with a gunshot wound to the head. Homicide investigators were called to the scene.
She was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.
Police have identified the suspect — a 15-year-old boy. A preliminary investigation suggests the two were arguing before the boy shot her.
The incident remains under investigation.
