ENGLEWOOD, N.J. — A beer (or three) a day apparently keeps the doctor away.

Agnes Fenton turned 110 years old over the weekend and she said alcohol is the secret to her longevity.

She claims her doctor recommended she drink three bottles of Miller High Life a day. She did it for 70 years and threw down a shot of Johnnie Walker each day for good measure.

“When I was 100 years old, I went to the mirror to thank God that I was still here. And I thank him every morning,” Fenton told northjersey.com.

Caregivers recently advised Fenton to stop drinking alcohol since she’s not eating as much.
