1 Killed in Head-on Crash in North Royalton

NORTH ROYALTON, Ohio — One person was killed in a three-car crash in North Royalton Thursday night, Fox 8 News reports.

It happened at approximately 7 p.m. on Boston Road.

North Royalton Police Sgt. David Centner said a Dodge Neon was attempting to make a left turn onto Queensbridge Lane, when a Honda SUV driving behind it failed to stop, hit the Neon’s back bumper, then swerved into the oncoming lane and hit a Ford Focus head-on.

A passenger in the Ford Focus was killed. The driver of the Focus was flown to MetroHealth Medical Center.

The driver of the Honda SUV was taken to Southwest General Hospital.

Further details about the accident were not immediately released.
