University of Arizona researchers analyzed three million food-related posts.
They used the data to predict if people are overweight, have diabetes, what their political views are and where they live.
The data collected was from an eight-month period.
“Pastry” is the most “distinctive food word” tweeted in Ohio. It’s “caviar” in California, “grits” in several states and “sauerkraut” in Wisconsin.
