Join Fox 8 News in sending well wishes to the bride and the groom!

Erica Elwell and Gregory Stallings will tie the knot this Valentine’s Day on Fox 8 News in the Morning.

They were selected as the special couple out of some 300 entries.

Erica is a special education teacher/intervention specialist at Nord Middle School in Amherst.  She is also pursuing a master’s degree.

Greg is in the Air Force Reserves after serving for six years, three of which he was stationed in Japan.

He is now back in Cleveland and going to school full-time studying mechanical engineering at Cleveland State University.

Erica and Greg knew a wedding was in their future, but because of their school commitments, they didn’t know when that would be.

It turns out, the timing couldn’t be more perfect.

They met on Feb. 13, 2004 and had their first date on Valentine’s Day.

Exactly a decade later, they will they will exchange vows at an outdoor wedding at Squire’s Castle in the Cleveland Metroparks.

Wayne Dawson will officiate the ceremony. Stefani Schaefer and Kristi Capel will be the bridesmaids, and Kenny Crumpton will be a groomsman.

Everyone at home is invited to watch on live TV!

The Valentine’s Day Wedding is brought to you by FOX 8 and the Cleveland Metroparks.

The 700 Beta Banquet and Conference Center at the Hilton Garden Inn in Mayfield Village is providing a wedding reception for 150 people.
