MENTOR, Ohio — It’s a game that’s been around for 50 years, but there’s a good chance you’ve never heard of pickleball.
Three guys from Mentor are working to change that. Brian Murphy, his brother Mike and their friend, Ken Werner, started Mentor Pickleball. The organization was started in 2012 after the city allowed the men to build a pickleball court. It has since grown to 12 state-of-the-art courts. That makes it one of the largest pickleball complexes in the country.
Fox 8’s Kenny Crumpton stopped by to check it all out.
