CLEVELAND, Ohio — September is Childhood Obesity Awareness Month and according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, one out of every five children in the United States is obese.

One way parents can prevent and address this serious health concern is by being aware of the amount of sugar their children are consuming.

Pediatric dietitian Jennifer Willoughby, from Cleveland Clinic Children’s, stopped by Fox 8 News in the Morning to talk about the hidden sugar that is in foods and drinks many kids love.
