Study says people are happiest in their early years, again in senior years

According to a new study by scientists at the University of New South Wales, happiness follows a u-curve with the highest levels experienced by those aged 15 to 24 and again for those over 75.

Couples reported the greatest satisfaction at life just before having their first child. Then there’s a dip from the child’s first year of life until the child starts school.

Happiness hit a high again at 80 years old.
