It’s something we’ve all experienced — loud and annoying people in restaurants, movie theaters and other public places talking on their cell phones.

But a new study shows cell phone users are getting less annoying.

The Pew Research Center found about three-quarters of adults (74%) say that they witness bad cell phone behavior “frequently” or “occasionally”. That’s down 11-percentage points from 2006.

A quarter of all adults say they witness it “rarely” or “never”.
