CLEVELAND, Ohio — Country chef Lee Ann Miller likes to test her recipes with family and friends before she shares them on Fox 8 News in the Morning. When we asked Lee Ann about a great recipe for this time of year she suggested her ‘Apple Mango Salsa’.
Lee Ann says when she tested this recipe with her family they not only gave it two thumbs up, they ended up eating every last bite and made it their dinner!

Apple Mango Salsa
1 red delicious unpeeled apple, cored & diced
1 mango, peeled and diced
1 medium cucumber, peeled and cubed
1 yellow bell pepper, diced
1/3 cup red onion, diced
1/3 cup fresh cilantro, minced fine
½ jalapeño pepper, seeded and minced
1 heaping Tablespoon hot pepper jelly
1 Tablespoon fresh lime juice
1 Tablespoon orange juice
After coring and dicing the red delicious apple sprinkle it with fruit fresh. Add the next 6 ingredients. In a small mixing bowl, whisk together jelly, lime and orange juice. Serve with tortilla chips or over spoon over fresh seafood.
