The Cleveland Metroparks's 'Merwin's Wharf' restaurant has a new dish on the menu and GM of Food Operations Jarrod McCarthy along with chef Nick Lanzo shared the recipe with Fox 8 News in the Morning.

1 1/2 lb. Fresh PEI Mussels
4 tbls. Roasted onions and peppers
1 oz Chopped Bacon
3 oz Marsala Wine
1/2 tbls Olive Oil
finish with 1 oz butter and salt and pepper Garnish with fresh basil chiffonade
Get sauté pan hot with olive oil. Add mussels and salt and pepper. Add Marsala and cover with lid. Cook until mussels begin to open, about two minutes. Remove lid and add bacon, peppers and onions and cook until warmed through. Add butter and fresh herbs, remove from heat and serve with grilled toast points
