Pumpkin Rice Krispies Treats
6 cups rice krispies
4 tablespoons margarine
1 bag marshmallows (about 40)
Orange food coloring
1 box Sugar Babies
1 can green icing with leaf tip
Pumpkin Molds (optional)
Orange disco dust – available at cake and candy supply (optional)
Melt margarine in sauce pan, add marshmallows and cook on low until marshmallows are melted and blended with margarine. Pour marshmallow mix into a bowl with rice krispies, using a rubber spatula mix until well incorporated; add enough orange food coloring to create desired pumpkin color. Press about 1 tablespoon mixture into each mold, or form 2 tablespoons into a pumpkin shape.
Place one Sugar Babie in center as stem, use green icing to create leaves and vine around top. If using molds, fill center with M&M’s, close and sprinkle orange disco dust. If molding free hand sprinkle orange disco dust.
Chocolate Brownie Spiders
1 box fudge brownie mix
1-24 or 2-12 cup mini muffin tins
1 small bag pretzel sticks
1 bag white chocolate dipped pretzels
1 box chocolate wafer cookies
1 can white frosting
Purple disco dust – available at cake and candy supply (optional)
Make brownie mix according to directions. Fill each muffin cup 2/3 full and bake at 350f for 12-15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Allow brownie bites to cool, and then remove from pan.
Spread a small amount of frosting on top of the wafer cookie, place two chocolate covered pretzels on top to form web. Top pretzels with a dab of frosting and place brownie bite on top. Break three pretzel sticks in half and stick 3 into each side of brownie to form legs. Use icing to connect eyes to brownie. Sprinkle with purple disco dust.
