When Ronald Phillips is put to death by the state of Ohio on Wednesday, he’ll die with organs he would like to donate.
According to an article on bustle.com, attorneys for Phillips requested his organs be donated.
According to the New York Times, only Utah allows prisoners who die behind bars to donate their organs.
Phillips was convicted in the rape and murder of his girlfriend’s three-year-old daughter in Akron back in 1993.
