WEB VIDEO: Local Teen Flips Into Record Books

Marie Klein flipped her way into the record books.

The Walsh Jesuit High School junior recently did more than 40 back handsprings during her school's football game against Akron's St. Vincent-St. Mary.

Representatives from the Guinness Book of World Records were on hand. They have certified that she beat the previous record of 36, but are still trying to determine exactly how many back handsprings Klein performed. You can see video of her record-setting performance below.

Klein did eight flips in the FOX 8 hallway with Wayne, Stefani and Kenny cheering her on.
