University ends century-old tradition beloved at many schools

It may be hard to imagine a world without yearbooks, but students at the University of Alabama will have to do without the memory keepers.

AL.com reported the school will end its publication after it sold only 24 copies to its 36,155 students last year.

In the past, the yearbook featured student life, campus events and notable world events.

The student yearbook was a 122-year-old tradition at the University of Alabama.
