A record number of employers are allowing their workers to observe Martin Luther King Jr. Day as a paid day off, according to a survey, but the number still lags way behind those that allow other paid holidays.

That’s according to Bloomberg BNA, which conducted the annual survey.

According to the results, 37 percent of employers offer MLK Day as a paid day off. That’s up two percent from last year’s survey.

MLK Day still falls far behind other paid days off like Black Friday. About 73 percent of employers offer the day after Thanksgiving as a paid day off.

Only 35 percent of employers offer President’s Day as a paid holiday, however, and only 22 percent offer Veteran’s Day.
