CLEVELAND, Ohio — Her message is “never give up hope…one person can make a difference.”
And Yvonne Pointer is making a big difference in the lives of students from Ghana.
Just this past week, the Gloria Pointer Memorial School opened its doors. The school is named after Yvonne’s daughter, who was only 14 when she was killed in Cleveland.
Since, Yvonne has been an advocate for children.
Yvonne explained how the school came to be Wednesday on Fox 8 News in the Morning.
