CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Platform Beer Co. is brewing up a brand new beer to help raise money for the Cleveland Velodrome.

The beer, which is called Veloracer, is a grapefruit shandy.

It will be introduced at a launch party this Thursday, August 11, from 5 to 10 p.m. at the Platform Beer Co.

After that, it will only be sold at the Whole Foods Market stores in Woodmere, University Heights, and Rocky River.

For every six-pack of Veloracer sold, Whole Foods Market will donate $1 to the Cleveland Velodrome.

They hope to raise enough money to build an enclosure around the Velodrome for year-round cycling.
