Holiday Heart Syndrome & the 4th of July

Morning Show

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WJW) — The 4th of July holiday is traditionally a time for picnics, cookouts and celebrations. Overindulging in salty foods, too much food and excessive alcohol can actually trigger an issue that doctors see after a holiday. It’s called ‘Holiday Heart Syndrome’ and Dr. Marc Gillinov, Chairman of the Department of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery at Cleveland Clinic Hospitals, explains more about the condition to Fox 8’s Todd Meany.
