CLEVELAND, Ohio — Can’t get the man in your life to go to the doctor? Maybe a cool car will help.
That’s the idea behind the 3rd annual Drive for Men’s Health.
Dr. Jamin Brahmbhatt and Dr. Sijo Parekattil of Orlando Health are traveling the country in a Tesla to draw attention to the need for men to stop making excuses and take control of their health.
The 10-day, 6,000 mile coast-to-coast journey began in Orlando and ends Friday in Los Angeles.
A new national survey commissioned by Orlando Health found the top excuses men make for not going to the doctor. The reasons include:
- too busy
- afraid of finding out what’s wrong
- uncomfortable with exams
The Tesla will be at Anytime Fitness on Clifton Boulevard in Cleveland today from noon – 1 p.m.
