CLEVELAND — Cleveland Sight Center has moved its 7th Annual White Cane Walk to Legacy Village in Lyndhurst.

The White Cane Walk fundraiser will take place June 9 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The White Cane Walk is an annual fundraising event to help provide services for people in our community who are blind or visually impaired, as well raise awareness of the White Cane Law designed to protect them.

White Cane Walkers will learn how to use a white cane and how to serve as a sighted guide. Each participant will have an opportunity to walk blindfolded through Legacy Village using a white cane with the assistance of a sighted guide partner.

The entry fee is $20 dollars.

There will be activities at the event for children and adults, which make it a great learning opportunity for people of all ages.
