CLEVELAND — Hospice of the Western Reserve holds training sessions at various times and locations for people who feel the calling to volunteer.

It is said that volunteers are “the heart of Hospice care.”

Adult volunteers must attend 21 hours of education in order to work with patients.

There’s 9 hours of training for non-patient volunteers, who will work as receptionists and do clerical work.

There are also volunteer opportunities for teens.
