BEACHWOOD, Ohio — Teens with cancer will have their pick of formal wear at the annual Dress Extravaganza.
The pre-prom event will be held Saturday, February 21, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Sunday, February 22, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Mandel Jewish Community Center.
Dress Extravaganza helps prepare hundreds of teens battling cancer for the annual A Prom to Remember, now in its fifth year. The prom is held for teens who otherwise would not be able to attend their own school proms.
A Prom to Remember will be held Saturday, March 28, and is free to attend. More than 150 teens are expected to attend this year’s prom.
