CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio – More than 40 volunteers will shave their heads at the St. Baldrick’s Foundation Head-Shaving event on Sunday, March 11. The event will be held at Cleveland Heights Community Center, 1 Monticello Boulevard, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The goal is to raise $15,000 for childhood cancer research. This event is designed specifically for the under-21 crowd and includes preschool and elementary students.
St. Baldrick’s is a volunteer-driven charity committed to funding the most promising research to find cures for childhood cancers and give survivors long and healthy lives. The Foundation hosts head-shaving events where volunteers collect pledges to shave their heads in solidarity with kids with cancer.
