SHAKER HEIGHTS, Ohio — The city of Shaker Heights is hosting its annual festival to celebrate the arts and music.

The Shaker Heights Arts & Music Festival will be held Saturday, June 21, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday, June 22, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Farnsleigh Road between Warrensville Center Road and Van Aken Boulevard.

The festival is free to attend.

The festival will host food, a juried art show, live music and entertainment and activities for kids. The Craft Fair will also feature more than 125 artists selling and showing artwork.

Kids’ activities will begin after 12:30 p.m. each day of the festival.

Organizers say attendees are encouraged to ride the RTA Blue Line Rapid to the festival or in the RTA parking lots. Limited parking is also available on the street.

The Larchmere PorchFest will also take place Saturday, June 21 near Shaker Square. The festival includes 30 bands playing on 30 neighborhood porches.

Attending who pay $1 can receive a wristband to ride between the Arts & Music Festival and Larchmere PorchFest on Saturday.
