My Town: Local Library Unveils October Youth Programs

MENTOR, Ohio — A local library has announced its programming lineup for its youngest visitors during the month of October.

The Medina Public Library announced its programming for kids and teens, including everything from Zombie Day to their College Prep Series.

The following is a select list of events for kids and/or teens:

  • Tiddlywinks
    Tuesdays/Wednesdays/Thursdays at 10 a.m.
    Main Library in the Children’s Story Room
  • Tike Time
    Thursdays from 11 to 11:30 a.m.
    Mentor Headlands Branch
  • Comics Club
    Tuesday, Oct. 1 at 7 p.m.
    Main Library Children’s Story Time Room
  • American Girl Book Club
    Wednesday, Oct. 2 at 4 p.m. Meet Molly.
    Main Library in the Children’s Story Time Room
  • Paws to Read
    Wednesday, Oct. 16 at Mentor-on-the-Lake Branch
    First session starts at 6:30 p.m.
    Second session starts at 7:00 p.m.
  • Zombie Day
    Friday, Oct. 18 at 1 p.m.
    Main Library in the James A. Garfield Room

 

The College Prep Series for college-bound young adults will be held Tuesday, October 1 through Thursday, October 3 each day at 6 p.m. Each portion of the series will be held in the James R. Garfield Room in the Main Library.
