CLEVELAND — The Karamu House has opened its new performing arts season.

This year’s season at the Karamu House will kick off with “It Ain’t Nothin’ But The Blues”, co-created by Karamu alumni, “Mississippi” Charles Bevel, who was also a part of the original Broadway cast.

“It Ain’t Nothin’ But The Blues” previews Tuesday, September 16, at 7:30 p.m. and officially premieres Friday, September 19, at 7:30 p.m. The first matinee showing will be held Sunday, September 21, at 3 p.m.

The play’s last showing will be held Sunday, October 12, at 3 p.m.

Single ticket admission for preview nights range from $15 to $25 per show. Regular admission is $32 to $40 per show.

Ticket prices for youth and students are $15 up to age 25 with a valid ID. All youth and young adult productions are $10 per ticket.
