AKRON, Ohio — The Akron Museum of Art is hosting its kick-off meeting for its latest public art project.

The Inside|Out community kick-off meeting will be held Thursday, February 12, at 5:30 p.m.

The project is funded by the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, and features 30 framed reproductions of artwork at temporary outdoor locations. Six Akron neighborhoods will be chosen to be included in this year’s project.

The installations will be held from April to June and again from August to October. Each community will have about 10 pieces of artwork in their installations.

This year’s communities will be announced during the kick-off meeting.
