KIRTLAND, Ohio – Meet more than 20 breeds of horses at HorseFest 2012!  The event which takes place from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, May 19 and 20 at Lake Metroparks Farmpark, 8800 Euclid Chardon Road.

There will be a variety of presentations and demonstrations.  Children can even groom a horse or enjoy a pony ride.

Activities include:

•          Horse and hound competition
•          Mounted unit competition
•          Cowboy field challenge
•          Jumping demonstration (Saturday only)
•          Freestyle costume contest
•          Various breed highlights
•          4-H musical ride
•          Driving obstacles demonstration
•          Driving cavalcade
•          Live music noon to 4 pm in the Courtyard
•          Pony rides ($4) and children’s activities
