GEAUGA COUNTY, Ohio –Those possessing a ‘Green Thumb’ and penchant for ‘Green’ practices will be showcasing what makes their plots of earth special at the 2012 Gone Green Garden Tour.

The tour is begin conducted by the Geauga Soil and Water Conservation District and gets underway on Saturday, June 9th from 1:00 – 5:00 pm.

The Geauga Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) and the Geauga County Storm Water Task Force are inviting the public on this unique tour, which will feature the best the county has to offer in gardening and environmentally friendly yard practices.

Participants will be able to travel freely to five different stops in Geauga County to learn about different types of gardens and techniques which can be applied to their yards.
