CLEVELAND — A local, non-profit clinic is hosting its Women’s Health Day Cancer Screening event.
MedWorks, in a partnership with Neighborhood Family Practice, is hosting the free clinic on Saturday, April 20 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Appointments can be made through the clinic, and walk-ins will be accepted from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Nearly 100 volunteers and health care professionals will be providing several health screening options with a focus on cancer prevention and detection. Mammograms, physicals, HIV testing and other services will be provided, and those needing follow-up appointments will be referred to a social worker for scheduling.
The event will be held at Neighborhood Family Practice located on 6412 Franklin Avenue. Appointments can be made by calling (216) 201-9325.
