There’s holiday fun in Painesville this weekend!   All are invited to “Spirit of the Season” parade on Saturday, December 3rd from noon until 3:30pm.  This annual tradition starts behind Morley Library at the corner of N. State Street and Latimore Street and ends in Veteran’s Park on the Square.  Look for Skipper from the Lake County Captains, the Tri-City Twirlers, Bands, Lolly the Trolley and of course Santa in the parade.  After the parade, stay for more fun at Victoria Place.  “We’ll have a holiday craft, gingerbread cookie decorating, letters to and photos with Santa, and more,” said Dave Whittaker, Painesville’s Recreation Coordinator.  There’s still time for groups to sign up to participate in the parade.  Call 440-392-5912 for more information.

Also this holiday season, remember there is a mailbox in Veteran’s Park for children to submit letters to Santa.  Any letter with a return address will receive a response back from Santa.
