CLEVELAND — The dental school at a local university is offering free dentals exams and screenings.

The Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine is offering the exams, x-rays, cleaning and oral cancer screenings on Saturday, January 11, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

No appointment is necessary to attend, however attendees must be at least 18 years old, not a current dental clinic patient or wear full dentures. Patients with special dental needs may be eligible for more treatment, and attendees who become regular patients will receive a $20 voucher toward a future clinic visit.

CWRU students organize the event each year as a way to support the community on a day known as Prophy Day.
