CLEVELAND — Cleveland State University is celebrating its 50th birthday with a community-wide event.

As part of the celebration, the school is hosting the CSU 50th Anniversary Block Party and the CSU Homecoming “Parade of the Decades” on Friday, September 19 from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The block party is free and open to the public.

Former CSU basketball star and current Miami Heat guard Norris Cole will lead the homecoming parade. Festivities will also include live entertainment, food trucks, fireworks and more.

The CSU Distinguished Alumni Awards ceremony will be held September 18.
