BRECKSVILLE, Ohio – If you’ve recently made some upgrades to your home, you can put the old materials to good use.  The City of Brecksville is hosting a collection event for Habitat for Humanity on Saturday, May 12 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Municipal Lot, 9009 Brecksville Road.

Habitat for Humanity will collect usable construction and renovation materials and other household items.  The donated items will be used in their building projects or will be sold in the ReStore to raise money for the organization’s programs.

You can donate your old sink, cabinets, toilets, kitchen cabinets, vanities, doors, working appliances, counter tops, plumbing fixtures, electrical supplies and tools.

If you have items which are too large to drop-off, pick-up can be arranged by calling  216.429.3631 ext. 238.
