CLEVELAND — The life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., will be celebrated at his namesake Cleveland Public Library branch.
The 29th annual event will be held Monday, January 20, beginning at 1 p.m. at the Cleveland Public Library Martin Luther King, Jr., Branch on Stokes Boulevard.
The celebration will be headlined by the Cleveland Metropolitan School District All-City Arts Drum Line, Distinguished Gentlemen of the Spoken Word and soloist Michael G. Williams. Several community leaders will also join in on the event, with Reverend Dr. Blanton Harper, Jr., delivering the keynote speech.
The event is free and open to the public.
