AKRON, Ohio — The city of Akron is hosting its annual Kwanzaa celebration.

The celebration kicks off Friday, December 26, at 6 p.m. at the Akron African United Front at the Alpha Center.

A different celebration is scheduled for each day of Kwanzaa. Public celebrations will run through Wednesday, December 31, at the Weathervane Playhouse, and hosted by the Akron/Canton Chapter of the National Association of Black Social Workers.
