CLEVELAND — Students at Case Western Reserve University are holding their annual event to give back to the community.
This year’s Case for Community Day will be held Friday, September 19.
More than 5,500 volunteers have provided more than 264,000 hours of community service to Greater Cleveland since its inception.
More than 600 volunteers are scheduled to participate in this year’s community, with 450 serving 60 local nonprofits. Other volunteers will serve the Youth Sports Clinic in the Veale Recreation Center and assist with free health screenings in with University Hospitals.
Case for Community Day is now in its 12th year of service.
