MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS, Ohio — From the courtroom to the art gallery.
Kelli Perk, an assistant prosecuting attorney in Cleveland, will display her artwork this week in an effort to raise money for breast cancer prevention.
The Art for a Cure art opening and charity raffle will benefit the Toni Turchi Foundation, which focuses on breast cancer research and prevention. The event will be held at the Environments by Design showroom, 7204 Pearl Road, on Feb. 27.
Many of Perk’s works features brilliant colors and abstract forms of an impressionist style, according to a release.
The art show will also feature original works by other local artists.
The event has a $25 admission fee, and raffle tickets are $5.
A reception begins at 5:30 p.m., and a ribbon cutting will be held at 6 p.m. Guests can hear Toni Turchi and Dr. Vincent Tuohy speak about their cause at 6:30 p.m.
