Embrace the chilly Northeast Ohio winters by attending the Arctic Ice Festival on Saturday and Sunday, February 4th and 5th.  The fun takes place from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. both days.

Activities and demonstrations include ice carving, ice harvesting, ice fishing, ice diving and ice boat races.  If your interest cools on the ice activities, you can take a ride on the trolley and tour the Underground Railroad, warm up with the soup cook-off or create arts and crafts with the kids.

The events take place at several venues including the Maritime Museum of Sandusky, Sandusky Sailing Club and Erie County Senior Center.
