NORTH OLMSTED, Ohio — The city’s Asian Catholic community is hosting their annual gathering to celebrate their beliefs and culture.

The 17th Annual Asian Mass and Gathering will be held Sunday, October 5, at 12 p.m. at St. Clarence Church in North Olmsted.

The Mass will be hosted by the Asian Ministry of the Diocese of Cleveland.

The gathering will kick-off with a procession of Vietnamese drums. The following Mass will host priests from several Asian Catholic communities in northeast Ohio in the family-oriented celebration of Asian culture. Members and visitors are welcome to wear traditional ethnic attire, and hymns and prayers will be sung in Tagalog, Korean, Vietnamese and Hindi.

After Mass there will be cultural festivities for people of all ages and a luncheon with Asian cuisine.
