    YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Youngstown firefighters union tells FOX 8 five children were killed in a house fire on Parkcliffe Avenue. The fire broke out around 11:30 p.m. Sunday. According to Captain Kurt Wright with the Youngstown Fire Department, the children  who passed away were 9, 3, 2, and 1-year-old twins.   • Lorain police: Vehicle went airborne in fatal crash

    LORAIN, Ohio – Lorain police are investigating a deadly car crash. It happened around 3:30 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of West 14th Street and Oberlin Avenue. Police say a GMC Envoy was headed south on Oberlin when it went across the railroad tracks at such a high rate of speed, the car went airborne. The driver was ejected, according to a press release.   • Woman hit by car hospitalized, Cleveland police investigate crash

    CLEVELAND, Ohio – Cleveland police are investigating what caused an accident at West 117th and Brighton Avenue. A car hit a pedestrian around 12:20 a.m. Monday. The victim is a 32-year-old woman. She was transported to the hospital. No word on her condition. The Cleveland police accident investigation unit was called out to reconstruct the crash scene. West 117th was closed for several hours during the investigation. Police have not said whether the driver will be charged.
