  • Collective Soul and Gin Blossoms are coming to Northeast Ohio

    NORTHFIELD PARK, Ohio – Two 90s rock bands are coming together for a tour this summer. Collective Soul is celebrating its 25th anniversary. The band will be stopping at MGM Northfield Park on June 11. Gin Blossoms will be joining them for the tour. Gin Blossoms released a new album in 2018. All VIP packages will be available starting Wednesday, March 20 at 10 p.m. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, March 22 at 10 a.m.

    CANTON, Ohio – Antonio Hardeman, 38, was arraigned on charges Monday, including murder and child endangerment in the death of a 2-year-old boy. Canton police say officers responded to 3524 Ellis Ave NE on Saturday around 8 a.m. The Canton Fire Department transported the child to Mercy Medical Center, where the child was pronounced deceased.   • 2 hospitalized following Maple Heights shooting

    MAPLE HEIGHTS, Ohio – Maple Heights police are investigating a shooting that injured two people Sunday. The police received a call about shhots fired in the area of 20840 Southgate Park Blvd. Officers found two gunshot victims at 5270 Warrensville Center Road, according to a press release. Taeshia Robinson, 24, and Deon Taylor, 22, were transported to Metro Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.     The Wisconsin man accused of kidnapping Jayme Closs and killing the teenager’s parents called a reporter from jail. Authorities say Jake Patterson, 21, held Jayme captive for 88 days inside his cabin in the remote town of Gordon, Wisconsin. She escaped January 10. Patterson was arrested shortly afterward.
