  • Video shows incident that has Cleveland officer facing charges

    CLEVELAND — Video was just released of an incident that has a Cleveland police officer facing charges. Patrol officer Angela Gaston is accused of refusing to allow another officer to tow her vehicle after discovering she had more than $1,500 worth of outstanding parking tickets. The incident happened Feb. 12. Gaston is also accused of leaving the scene. She is charged with obstructing official business and failure to comply.

  • Ex-husband of missing Lakewood mom sentenced for her murder

    CLEVELAND — A man was sentenced Thursday to 25 years in prison for the murder of his ex-wife. Fahad Saeed was married to Roaa Al Dhannoon when she disappeared in October of 2016. In May of 2017, investigators discovered her remains, buried inside a container in a wooded area behind an apartment building on Memphis Avenue in Brooklyn.     NEW JERSEY —  A little boy in New Jersey is paying it forward, after receiving an early Christmas gift.   • Go Red: 100 Cleveland-area women gather to celebrate heart health

    CLEVELAND —  Celebrating women’s heart health. Nearly 100 women — including our own Maia Belay– from local media outlets, businesses, and community organizations donned their red for a photo shoot Tuesday night, supporting the American Heart Association. Heart disease is the number one killer of women in the United States, and every 80 seconds, a woman loses her battle with cardiovascular disease. Tuesday’s photo shoot was to raise awareness for the Heart Association’s ‘Go Red’ campaign.

  • Cleveland man goes home for Thanksgiving after 10 months in hospital

    CLEVELAND– It was an extra special Thanksgiving for one Cleveland family. Kelvin Young was paralyzed from a gunshot wound to the back in 1975. He fell ill about a year ago and was diagnosed with liver cancer. He spent 10 months at MetroHealth Medical Center, where he worked hard in therapy so he would be able to make it home for the holidays.
