    AKRON, Ohio – A second suspect has been arrested in connection with the killings of a New Franklin couple.     ELYRIA, Ohio — A City of Elyria employee is facing charges after allegedly driving drunk in a city vehicle. Elyria Police received a call from a citizen at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday reporting an erratic driver in a Ford Ranger with city license plates.     AMHERST, Ohio — Police have arrested the man accused of stabbing and killing an Amherst family’s dog. Gerald D. Miller, 43, was taken into custody Thursday morning. Miller has been charged with cruelty to companion animals, and was released on a $1,000 bond. Police say Miller stabbed Maya Sunday morning.
