Jenn Harcher is thrilled to be a part of the Fox 8 Weather Team!

A true Cleveland’s Own, she was born and raised in the Snowbelt Capital of Ohio. The Chardon native is no stranger to the power of lake-effect and is always up for the challenge of forecasting in this unique area.

Jenn graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Atmospheric Sciences. She is also a member of the American Meteorological Society.

Before joining Fox 8, she worked at WABI TV5 in Bangor, Maine where she covered brutal wind chills, nor’easters and ice storms. From there she headed south and worked at WITN in Greenville, North Carolina covering a record breaking summer for severe storms, dangerous heat waves and tropical storms. For the past 10 years she has forecast Cleveland’s ever-changing weather.

When not forecasting the weather, you can find Jenn and her husband Jeff chasing after their two little boys. A 5 and 7 year-old keep her very busy! In her spare time, Jenn enjoys teeing it up, kayaking, fishing and hiking our many amazing parks in Northeast Ohio. She is a huge Buckeye, Browns and Indians fan, naturally, but loves anything Cleveland!
