Brittany Harris rejoined the FOX 8 family in 2018 as an assignment editor and digital journalist.

She previously reported on air for the station a few years ago before making her way down to Orlando, Florida where she continued her career at WKMG-TV.

While there she covered many major breaking stories, including the Pulse nightclub shooting, the murder of singer Christina Grimmie, and Hurricane Matthew. She had the opportunity to cover on the visit of President Obama and President Trump as well.

Brittany has also worked in Zanesville, Ohio and Springfield, Illinois. She graduated from Columbia College in Chicago with a degree in Broadcast Journalism.

When she’s not digging for news, the Cleveland native enjoys catching up on her favorite TV shows, going out to dinner and spending time with her husband and their cats.

  • Two people killed after Porsche goes airborne, smashes into second story of building

    TOMS RIVER, N.J. (WJW) — Two people are dead after a Porsche launched into the air and smashed into the second story of a building, police said. According to FOX News, the sports car was traveling at a “high rate of speed” on Sunday when the driver lost control. No one was inside the building at the time. The victims names have not been released. Investigators are still trying to determine how the vehicle went airborne.
