ANN ARBOR, Michigan (WJW) - The top ranked Ohio State Buckeyes got their 8th straight win over the Michigan Wolverines when they visited Ann Arbor Saturday.

It was Ryan Day's first time leading the Buckeyes in the rivalry as head coach.  Jim Harbaugh has never gotten the win since leading the Wolverines. Ohio State was favored to win.

The Wolverines came out swinging and rushed down the field to put points on the board in the first drive.

They scored 6, but missed the kick.

Ohio State fired right back and scored on their opening drive.

Justin Fields went down in the third with an apparent leg injury.

He walked off the field on his own and was checked out in the medical tent.  He came back after a few plays and threw a perfect pass to the end zone.

The Buckeyes topped that team up north 56 - 27.
