Browns fall to 49ers, 31-3

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif.— The Browns struggled throughout Monday night’s loss to the 49ers. The final score was 31-3.

Cleveland was unable to get anything going on offense. Quarterback Baker Mayfield was sacked four times, threw two interceptions and fumbled once.

On the 49ers first offensive play, running back Matt Breida went 83 yards for a touchdown. He also caught a TD pass to put San Francisco up, 14-0, at the end of the first quarter.

The Browns sole score of the game came in the second quarter in the form of a Austin Seibert field goal.

San Francisco quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo threw for two more touchdowns and Robbie Gould added a field goal.

Cleveland is 2-3. Up next, the Browns host the 4-1 Seahawks on Sunday.
